Standards-Version: 4.7.0
Rules-Requires-Root: no

Package: scutarius-branding
Architecture: all
Depends: ${misc:Depends}, console-setup, scutarius-grub-theme
Description: Scutarius console appearance (art + console font)
 Scutarius console look-and-feel, architecture-independent (desktop/notebook
as well as the fleet): the shield-wall boot logo (scutarius.logo) and login
wallpaper (scutarius-wall.txt) under /usr/share/scutarius, plus the console
font policy (Terminus 8x16, UTF-8). Depends on scutarius-grub-theme so
every install gets the themed boot menu (nothing else pulled it in; the
first d-i install, 2026-09-05, booted unthemed). The /etc/issue login
banner and the os-release identity are NOT here -- they belong to
 scutarius-base-files.

Package: scutarius-grub-theme
Architecture: all
Depends: ${misc:Depends}, grub-common
Description: Scutarius GRUB boot theme (shield-wall)
Charcoal-ground, bone-text, bronze-selection GRUB theme with the Scutarius
 shield-wall background, installed to /boot/grub/themes/scutarius (theme.txt,
 8-bit backgrounds, pf2 fonts -- all verified on GB10 metal). Ships a
/etc/default/grub.d drop-in pointing GRUB_THEME at it and setting the
gfxmode / gfxpayload / menu colours, so update-grub can regenerate a themed
grub.cfg, and runs update-grub itself when grub.cfg already exists. The
serial console on GB10 is added by scutarius-gb10-config's /etc/grub.d
snippet (terminal_output --append serial_efi0), so both coexist.

Package: scutarius-desktop-theme
Architecture: all
Depends: ${misc:Depends}
Recommends: mint-y-icons, fonts-noto-core
Description: Scutarius desktop look: wallpapers, GTK 3/4 and Cinnamon themes
The Scutarius shield-wall wallpapers (rendered from the brand SVGs at build
time), the "Scutarius" GTK 3 and GTK 4 theme (the stock Adwaita dark
stylesheet of the installed GTK, recoloured to the Scutarius palette:
charcoal ground, bone text, bronze accent) and the "Scutarius" Cinnamon
shell theme (the stock Cinnamon theme, recoloured the same way), plus the
mark as a greeter logo. Selects nothing: install scutarius-desktop-defaults
to make these the system defaults.

Package: scutarius-desktop-defaults
Architecture: all
Depends: ${misc:Depends}, scutarius-desktop-theme (= ${binary:Version}), lightdm, slick-greeter, cinnamon, mint-y-icons, fonts-noto-core, fonts-dejavu-core
Description: Scutarius desktop defaults for Cinnamon and slick-greeter
System-wide defaults (glib schema override, so a user's own settings win):
Cinnamon and GTK theme Scutarius, Mint-Y-Dark icons, Noto Sans UI font,
DejaVu Sans Mono, the shield-wall wallpaper; slick-greeter with the same
background, the Scutarius mark as logo and the Scutarius GTK theme; lightdm
default session cinnamon. Installs nothing under /etc.
